They flew all the way from South Carolina to say “I do” in one of the most iconic places to get married on the West Coast: San Francisco City Hall. Their day was simple, heartfelt, and filled with the kind of emotion that reminds me why I love being a photographer.

Getting ready:
We started the day at their hotel, where Belle slipped into her elegant dress while Kyle carefully buttoned his suit. The excitement was soft but electric, the kind of excitement that comes when two people are deeply sure of each other. After a few quiet moments and detail shots at the hotel, we hopped in the car and made our way to City Hall.

The grand staircase, golden light, and quiet corners of San Francisco City Hall never disappoint. But what made this day extra special? I had the honor of being Belle and Kyle’s only witness. Just the three of us, sharing laughter, nerves, and tears. I signed their marriage license, captured every candid glance and kiss, and held space for a couple who trusted me to be more than just their photographer.
There’s something magical about elopements. No big crowd. No tight timeline. Just love, intention, and moments that unfold naturally.
After their vows, we explored the marble halls and warm light of City Hall, stopping for portraits in places where history and beauty meet. Every frame felt cinematic — just like their love story.
To Belle and Kyle, thank you for letting me be a part of such a personal and meaningful day. Being your photographer and your witness was an absolute honor.
If you’re thinking of eloping in San Francisco, City Hall is a timeless backdrop — and I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
With love,
Luna
